Tango (American Style) Level Two – Passion, Precision, and Power Join Us for Tango on Saturday Nights in June! This Level Two course dives deeper into the dramatic world of American Tango. You’ll learn intricate footwork, sharper dynamics, and signature styling—all while building fluidity, control, and presence on the floor. Whether you want to dance with more precision or embody the character of Tango more fully, this class is for you. 🗓 Dates: June 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2025 🕒 Time: 7:00 PM – 7:50 PM 📍 Location: Ballroom and Country Dance Studio: 121C 17th Ave NE, Calgary (Lower Ballroom) 🎟 Pricing: $25 per person for drop-ins $90 for full course (single registration) $145 for full course (couple registration) What Is American Tango? Unlike its International counterpart, American Tango offers a wider variety of open and side-by-side positions, allowing for more creative expression. It’s characterized by sharp direction changes, strong frames, and stylized movements that tell a story with every step. Who Is This Class For? This course is ideal for dancers who have completed a Level One Tango class or are comfortable with basic patterns. We’ll explore more advanced combinations and deepen your technique.
