"ONE (Singular Sensation)" A Performance-Focused Musical Theatre Choreography Course Saturdays at 6:00PM | 8-Week Course Step into the world of musical theatre with ONE (Singular Sensation), an eight-week performance-focused choreography course inspired by A Chorus Line and the artistry, precision, and storytelling that define Broadway dance. This class is designed for dancers who want more than combinations. We’ll focus on performance quality, musical intention, spatial awareness, and ensemble unity, building choreography that is polished, intentional, and stage-ready. This course also serves as an early entry point into Christifer Duxbury Dance Collective’s October 2026 showcase, giving dancers the opportunity to begin working in a theatrical performance context well ahead of the stage. Schedule: Saturdays at 6:00PM January 10, 17, 24, 31, 2026 February 7, 14, 21, 28, 2026 What to Expect: This is a performance-driven choreography class, not a casual drop-in movement session. Dancers will work on: • Musical theatre style and character-driven movement • Precision, timing, and spatial awareness • Performance confidence and stage presence • Dancing as both an individual and part of an ensemble The choreography will draw from classic Broadway influence while remaining accessible, challenging, and rewarding. Who This Class Is For: This course is ideal for dancers with some prior dance experience, including ballroom, Latin, jazz, musical theatre, or commercial styles. All levels are welcome to attend this class. As always, we achieve our goals as a team! If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like to rehearse for a show, this is your doorway. Pricing: Full 8-Week Course: $180 per person Drop-In: $25 per person (Drop-ins are available only for the first two classes, space permitting) Costuming will be an additional charge.
